Selection includes seven from Canada, with five from Quebec.

As part of their inaugural Frontières international co-production market, Montreal’s Fantasia International Film Festival have revealed their Off-Frontières selection of film projects.

Off-Frontières highlights a limited number of additional projects in a wider range of development stages with seven of the ten projects from Canada, five of which come from Quebec. Projects include Rodrigo Gudiño’s remake of the western Cut Throats Nine, Yves-Christian Fournier’s N.O.I.R. and Simon Rumley’s Sugar Candy Blues.

The selection is part of the Fantasia Industry Rendez-Vous, taking place July 26-29, which also includes the Fantasia Film Market, set up to support sales efforts of the features that will be part of the festival’s programming.
