Kino Lorber has hired Alan Fergurson as svp of home entertainment, replacing vp Eric Wilkinson who will leave the company to pursue other opportunities.

Fergurson will be responsible for Kino Lorber’s packaged media sales and marketing.

He will also oversee all retail distribution of the company’s house labels, including the genre-oriented Horizon, the “Euro cult” collection Redemption, the consciousness / spirituality brand Alive Mind and the flagship Kino Lorber and Kino Classics lines.

The new hire’s remit includes managing sales and distribution of all third-party labels distributed by Kino Lorber, which currently includes Adopt Films, RARO Video and Artsploitation Films.

Fergurson will join the company’s executive acquisitions team and assist with Kino Lorber’s rapidly expanding digital distribution business. 

He has more than 20 years of experience in the entertainment industry and held senior executive positions at the likes of Disney, Sony Music, New Video, MTV Networks and most recently Image Entertainment.
