Film Finance TV has announced the latest confirmed speakers for its event on May 19 in Cannes.

A panel on changing opportunities in Europe will feature Eurimages’ Roberto Olla, Aviva Silver from the European Commission, and Katriel Schory from the Israel Film Fund. Event co-producer Amos Rozenberg of Paramax Films said: “We wanted to focus some roundtable discussions on the subject of Europe, not only because we are broadcasting live from the Cannes Film Festival, but because filmmakers worldwide do not realize the opportunities available to them here in Europe.”

International co-productions and other film investments will be discussed on a panel led by Magnet Media’s Jeanette Buerling with Fox’s Shebnem AskinSchreger, Umedia’s Adrian Politowski, and Paradox’s Fredrik Malmberg.

Magnet’s Michele Ohayon will lead a discussion about monetizing new media forms with CAA’s Roeg Sutherland, Cinedigm’s Chris McGurk [pictured], Peter Iacon of Lionsgate, H2O’s Mark Horowitz and Vumanity’s Walter Josten.

Joe Woolf of One West Bank will moderate a panel with Loeb & Loeb’s Mickey Mayerson, Aldamisa’s Jere Hausfater, Escape’s David Bloomfield and advisor Hal Sadoff.

The day will also include pitches of new projects from Élie Chouraqui, Jen Delia and Julie Pacino and James Simpson.

FilmFinance TV is supported by the media partners Screen International and Bloomberg TV and produced by Magnet Media Group and Paramax Films and Monde Ouest, as well as MPH Entertainment.

The event will be held at the Majestic hotel in Cannes on May 19. The series is also available for streaming. To register or for more information, visit the website.
