The du Cap hotel will host the inaugural LIFE Summit on the French Riviera immediately prior to Cannes on May 14.

Warner Music Group and the Grand-Hôtel du Cap-Ferrat will host the celebrity gala dinner, concluding with a live performance from an as-yet-unnamed WMG acclaimed artist.

Organisers at the forum LIFE - an acronym for Luxury, Internet, Fashion and Entertainment - have invited speakers such as Lionsgate UK COO Guy Avshalom, former NBC executive and Electus CEO Ben Silverman and Net-A-Porter co-founder Carmen Busquets.

Subjects under discussion will include the intersection of brand and celebrity, curated content and technological tools and the social impact of entrepreneurs.

“We are very excited to be launching an ongoing series that will connect key industry professionals within these four areas on a global scale,” said LIFE Founder Monella Kaplan.

“LIFE forums cover a wide range of issues from social media to economics and social responsibility, via casual conversations and networking among industry leaders and their peers.

“This is just the beginning: LIFE in Paris, LIFE in Hong Kong and LIFE in New York are in the works.”
