Josh Goldstine has been appointed the studio’s president of worldwide marketing.

Goldstine currently serves as president of domestic marketing and in his new role will continue to work with co-president of domestic marketing Michael Moses and London-based evp of international marketing, Simon Hewlett.

“Josh is one of the brightest, most strategic marketing executives I’ve ever met,” said Universal Filmed Entertainment chairman Jeff Shell.

“In my short tenure at the studio, I’ve watched him shape brilliant campaigns for our films time and again. His leadership extends far beyond our marketing campaigns, and we are incredibly lucky to have his strategic advice and counsel in all parts of our business for years to come.”

Goldstine reports to Shell and Universal Pictures chairman Donna Langley. He joined the studio in 2011 from Sony, where he held a range of senior marketing positions including svp of creative advertising.
