CineTel Films president and CEO Paul Hertzberg will continue as chairman of the Independent Film & Television Association (IFTA) for a further two years.
Nominations for election to IFTA’s board of directors and executive committee are complete and see 23 candidates vying for 12 open seats.
An additional 14 board members are starting the second year of their two-year terms and are not up for election.
IFTA president and CEO Jean Prewitt said, “IFTA’s membership represents the breadth of the independent industry. We are fortunate that service on IFTA’s board engages talented executives from companies that are the backbone of that diverse industry.”
