Rodolphe Sanze has left Spanish firm Imagina and will join Germany’s K5 International, where Sara Boss has been promoted ahead of Cannes.

Sanze will relocate from Madrid to join the sales team of Munich-based K5, reporting to partner, sales and marketing Carl Clifton.

Sanze previously spent five years at Imagina International Sales, where he handled acquisitions and worldwide sales for films and documentaries from Spanish directors.

As film sales executive, he also managed world sales on more than 40 titles including Woody Allen’s Midnight in Paris and You Will Meet a Tall Dark Stranger.

In addition, Boss, who has been part of the K5 International sales team since 2011, has been promoted.

The sales exec has handled a number of key territories on the all rights side and also oversees the company’s TV slate, which she is in the process of expanding.

Both Sanze and Boss will have senior sales executive titles.

The move comes ahead of Cannes, where K5 will be selling titles including spoof movie The Starving Games, from writers/directors Jason Friedberg and Aaron Seltzer.

Other films include Justin Reardon comedy Convention, starring Jennifer Aniston, Mark Duplass and Ben Kingsley; Richard Levine’s Blue Angel, set to star Clive Owen; and tennis documentary Venus & Serena.

K5 will also be selling Narco Cultura, from war photographer and film-maker Shaul Schwarz, and Andrew Dosunmo’s Sundance winner Mother of George.
