FilmNation CEO Glen Basner has announced four key promotions.

Stefan Zorich has been named svp of international distribution services, Pauline Piechota becomes svp of marketing and distribution, Ian Pine is promoted to svp of finance and accounting and Gregoire Gensollen is named svp of distribution and strategy.

Zorich previously worked at Sidney Kimmel Entertainment, PictureHouse, Newmarket Films and Miramax. At FilmNation he has worked on the international releases of Looper, Magic Mike and The King’s Speech, among others.

Piechota is a veteran of Adirondack Pictures, Good Machine International and Focus Features. She has been at FilmNation since its inception in 2008 and is working on Steven Soderbergh’s Side Effects, Pedro Almodóvar’s Los Amantes Pasajeros (I’m So Excited!) and EFM sales titles The Bling Ring and Nebraska.

Pine previously served as vp of Finance at Sony Pictures Television division Embassy Row and before that was financial controller at ITV Studios, the Assistant Controller at 4Kids Entertainment and director of finance at MTV Networks.

Gensollen works closely with Basner and COO Milan Popelka running distribution strategy, pricing and deal analysis on US and international sales and strategic planning and business development. He is overseeing international releases on all FilmNation titles.

He previously worked as vp of international strategic and sales planning at Lionsgate where he took charge of international deal structuring for sales and film acquisitions and co-productions. Before that he held theatrical marketing and distribution posts at Focus, Fox Searchlight and the international units of Warner Bros and Paramount.
