Paul Federbush [pictured] has joined the Sundance Institute as international director of the Feature Film Programme (FFP).

The executive arrives from Red Flag Releasing and before that served as svp of production and acquisitions at Warner Independent. He starts on Sept 24 and will report to FFP founding director Michelle Satter.

Federbush will plan and execute the international work of the FFP, which includes year-round support for International artists through Labs, granting, and ongoing mentorship providing creative and tactical support.

He will oversee international Labs in collaboration with local partners in the Middle East and India, discover international filmmakers and projects, steward programmes such as the Sundance Institute|Mahindra Global Filmmaking Award and Sundance|NHK Award, and support the international artists participating in the annual Sundance Labs in Utah.  

  • Beth Harris has been appointed Dolby Theatre marketing director and will be responsible for the management and activation of Dolby’s sponsorship of the venue, playing a key role in setting strategy and implementing programmes to leverage the venueand build the Dolby brand. Harris most recently served as vp of marketing in the digital entertainment division at BBC Worldwide.
