Berney will oversee daily operations of Digital Domain Media Group’s (DDMG) Florida studio and joins from Sony Pictures Imageworks.

Berney served 17 years at Sony Pictures Imageworks, four of those leading teams at the company’s New Mexico studio.
He has acted as visual effects supervisor on more than 20 films, earning an Oscar nomination for his work on The Chronicles Of Narnia: The Lion, The Witch And The Wardrobe.”
