Phil Rymer has joined the media, brands and technology team at London law firm Lewis Silkin as a partner.

He was previously principal of his own firm, Rymer Media Law, which he established in 2009.

Rymer has over 20 years of experience in film and television law, working in both private practice and in-house positions on features including Billy Elliot, The Mummy and most recently Ralph Fiennes’ Coriolanus.

His previous roles include director of legal and business affairs at Icon Entertainment International, managing director of Ruby Films, senior vice president of legal and business affairs at Intermedia Films and partner at Marriott Harrison.
