Warner Bros has announced its Comic-Con showcase for The Hobbit finale, Mad Max reboot and the Wachowskis’ delayed sci-fi Jupiter Ascending.

Peter Jackson is scheduled to promote The Hobbit: The Battle Of Five Armies at what is sure to be a sell-out session for the studio in the hanger-sized Hall H at the San Diego Convention Center on July 26. The fantasy finale arrives in theatres later this year on December 17.

Thirty-five years after he introduced Mel Gibson to the world in Mad Max, George Miller returns to the apocalyptic milieu and will present a first-look of Mad Max: Fury Road starring Tom Hardy and Charlize Theron. It is set to open on May 15, 2015.

Andy and Lana Wachowski will talk up Jupiter Ascending starring Channing Tatum, Mila Kunis and Sean Bean. The film is set to open on February 6, 2015, after the studio pushed back from the original July 18, 2014 slot.

Warner Bros partners with Village Roadshow on Mad Max: Fury Road and Jupiter Ascending, while the studio teamed up with New Line and MGM on The Hobbit series.

What remained unclear was whether the studio planned to promote Batman V Superman: Dawn Of Justice.

There will be a preview screening of the tornado thriller Into The Storm on July 23. 2014 also marks the 75th anniversary year of Batman and Warner Bros division DC Entertainment has a number of events planned including panel discussions and convention floor merchandising.
