New Films International has brought on the international distribution executive as evp of worldwide distribution.
Douglas McClure has been hired as svp of business and legal affairs. Both will report to New Films International CEO Amy Beecroft.
Beaufils will oversee all aspects of NFI’s burgeoning international sales operations in the film, TV and digital spaces.

NFI’s slate includes WWII thriller Pursuit and James Franco’s adaptation of the William Faulkner classic The Sound And The Fury that recently wrapped production and stars Seth Rogen and Danny McBride.
Beaufils began his entertainment career in 1999 at LA-based Overseas Filmgroup (now First Look Studios) and became director of sales. In 2005 he joined Bauer Martinez International and most recently served as svp at Porchlight Entertainment and Epic Picture and launched North American operations at Under The Milky Way.
