Keith Potter to join Irish Film Board
Head of production for Film Agency Wales joins IFB.
Keith Potter, head of production at the Film Agency for Wales, is to join the Irish Film Board’s production and development team as project manager in April.
Potter will work closely with Rory Gilmartin who was appointed to the IFB as a project manager in November 2012 and will manage supported projects across all genres from development through to distribution.
Recent productions Potter oversaw from development through to production and distribution at the Film Agency for Wales include KelIy and Victor, Resistance, The Gospel of Us, We Went to War and Hunky Dory as well as Isabel Coixet’s upcoming Panda Eyes.
From 2007-2010, Potter was the head of talent at the Film Agency for Wales and was previously head of development at Dan Films.
Commenting on the appointment James Hickey, chief executive of the Irish Film Board, said: “Keith is an important addition to the newly structured IFB Production and Development team. He brings with him excellent production experience and international contacts and has demonstrated a strong commitment to discovering and developing new film writing and directing talent throughout his career to date.”
