Sir Ben Kingsley and rising talent Brie Larson have joined Daniel Radcliffe on Killer Films’ drama Brooklyn Bridge.

Radcliffe will play the brilliant but inexperienced engineer Washington Roebling who is left to oversee the construction of the Brooklyn Bridge when his father (Ben Kingsley) passes away.

Larson, best known for her role in Short Term 12, will play Roebling’s wife.

Writer-director Douglas McGrath’s (Infamous, Emma) drama is scheduled to shoot in spring 2015 with Goldcrest Films handling sales.

Christine Vachon produces for Killer Films with Rose Ganguzza. Goldcrest Post will provide picture and sound post production.

Pascal Degove, managing director Goldcrest Films, commented: “This is a film that distributors are really excited about. That this enthusiasm is shared by a highly commercial blend of acclaimed contemporary talent and acting royalty is really a testament to Doug’s script and his extraordinary strength as a filmmaker.”

Vachon added: “We knew this was a special project from the moment Doug shared his script and it’s going to be thrilling to see it come to life in the hands of such talented, fearless and brilliant actors”.
