Shoreline Entertainment has acquired worldwide rights to Mark Mahon’s debut feature Strength And Honour and will commence sales in Cannes.

The film is the first in a planned trilogy and stars Vinnie Jones, Michael Madsen and Richard Chamberlain in the story of a single father who returns to boxing to save his son’s life, despite his wife’s dying wishes.

Strength And Honour was released in Ireland and is being represented for US sales by Karen Kramer. Gail Fitzpatrick earned a best actress nomination in the Irish Film And Television Awards.

Kramer brought the project to Shoreline and is partnering with the company on a documentary about her late husband, the director Stanley Kramer.

Shoreline’s director of acquisitions Brandon Paine and director of worldwide distribution Sam Eigen brokered the Strength And Honour deal with Mahon.
