The Media Production Show continues today with more than 20 seminars across the event [click here for full list].

At the Keynote Theatre, the sessions will kick off at 11am with a DOP Masterclass with speakers Ben Steele and Andrew Muggleton, both BAFTA Craft Award nominees 2016, Photography – Factual for BBC4’s Handmade: Metal; and Robert Shacklady, DOP.

At 12.30pm, challenges facing the UK indie film sector will be debated by Jason Maza and Gina Powell of Unstoppable Entertainment (Adulthood, The Anomaly), chaired by Screen International.

Diversity in the creative sector will be explored at 1.30pm with speakers Fraser Ayres, actor and founder of TriForce Network, and Edi Smockum, director of ThinkBigger, with session chair Gavin Ramjaun of ITV Studios.

At 2.30pm, delegates will be invited to go behind the scenes of the UK’s biggest factual TV productions with Tania Alexander, director of factual entertainment at Studio Lambert; Martin Conway, series producer on First Dates; and Simon Dickson, creative director at Labell. Danny Fenton, CEO of Zig Zag Production, will chair the session.

Alongside the seminar programme, more than 130 exhibitors and sponsors are attending the event which is aimed at those working in the creative industries, across television, feature films, documentaries, commercials, music videos and corporate films.

The Media Production Show (June 9-10) is held at the Business Design Centre in Islington, London.
