London-based sales outfit Mister Smith will be introducing buyers at the EFM to new Constantin Film-produced rom-com Love, Rosie, set to star Lily Collins and Sam Claflin.

Juliette Towhidi adapted Cecelia Ahern’s novel Where Rainbow’s End and Christian Ditter will direct. Production is due to get underway this May.

The story centres on Rosie Dunne and her best friend Alex who take a leap of faith, both on life and on each other, when they decide to go to the US together to attend university. But fate has other plans for Rosie who discovers that she is pregnant after a crazy night out with the most popular boy in school. Over the next 12 years their lives change dramatically but the connection remains.

Constantin Film’s Robert Kulzer and Canyon Creek Films’ Simon Brooks will produce. Executive producer is Martin Moszkowicz, Constantin Film’s head of film and TV.

“We anticipate buyers will appreciate the fusion of a first class script by Juliette from Cecelia’s wonderful book, a visionary director in Christian, and two gifted rising young stars in Lily and Sam,” said David Garrett.

Rising star Collins will next be seen in Constantin’s The Mortal Instruments: City of Bones, the first film in the action fantasy franchise based on Cassandra Clare’s best-selling book series.

Claflin, who starred in Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides and Snow White and the Huntsman, will next be seen in horror film The Quiet Ones and will also star in the second instalment of The Hunger Games trilogy, Catching Fire.
