The new arrival previously served in senior executive roles at Cameron Pace Group, Prime Focus Limited and 525 Studios among others.
Welch will manage all aspects of day-to-day operations at Digital Domain’s Playa Vista and Vancouver’s locations.
The 30-year industry veteran is a member of the Producer’s Guild Of America, the Visual Effects Society, the International 3D & Advanced Imaging Society and a charter member of the Hollywood Post Alliance.
