Film-maker Rick Bieber and Ken Clark’s new production company kicks off with demonic love story The Other. Highland Film Group handles international sales and Gersh Agency represents US rights.

Bieber wrote the screenplay and will commence direction in Los Angeles this month on The Other, about a man who may be spiralling into demonic possession.

MiNDS i CiNEMA is fully funding the project and aims to finance and produce two films a year.

Bieber wrote, directed and produced The 5th Quarter starring Aidan Quinn, Andie McDowell and Ryan Merriman as well as Crazy starring Waylon Payne and Ali Larter.

Clark founded and served as chairman of First Guarantee Mortgage Company.
