Angela and Catherine Paura have joined Alcon Entertainment as co-presidents of worldwide marketing.

Alcon co-founders and co-CEO’s Andrew Kosove and Broderick Johnson, to whom the sisters report, made the announcement on Monday (December 22).

The Pauras join Alcon from their marketing research and consulting firm Capstone Global Marketing & Research Group.

Prior to Capstone Catherine Paura co-founded the National Research Group (NRG) with Joseph Farrell in 1978 and served as its CEO for 15 years.

During her time at NRG she worked with every major studio on the design and strategy of their marketing campaigns. She has also consulted for television companies and home entertainment products.

Angela Paura has a long working relationship with Alcon, including on such releases as The Blind Side (pictured), Dolphin Tale and Alcon’s first hit film, My Dog Skip.

Angela served as CMO of NRG and has held senior executive marketing positions at Viacom and JP Morgan Chase.

“We are thrilled to officially join the Alcon family,” said Angela and Catherine Paura. “We are excited to work on the company’s varied slate of features in 2015 and beyond.

“Moreover, we look forward to collaborating with Sue Kroll and Blair Rich to develop the creative blueprints to optimise the box office for Alcon’s movies.

“We are delighted Angela and Catherine are joining the Alcon family,” said Kosove and Johnson. “Together, they bring their unique, and vast experience in marketing films of every possible genre, which make them perfect to lead our marketing group. They are true pioneers in this industry.”
