Romanian film-maker Corneliu Porumboiu’s fresh IFC pick-up Police, Adjective and Lee Daniels’ Sundance hit Precious: Based On The Novel ‘Push’ By Sapphire will screen at the Chicago International Film Festival.

John Woo’s Red Cliff, Claude Chabrol’s Bellamy and Lars von Trier’s Antichrist are also among the first 20 films announced by Cinema/Chicago.

The festival is scheduled to run from October 8-21 and includes screenings of Marco Bellocchio’s Vincere, Katherine Dieckmann’s Motherhood, Hirokazu Kore-eda’s Air Doll, and Bruce Webb’s The Be All And End All.
