EuropaCorp and Relativity Media made the announcement on Monday [7]. The new cast join previously announced Kevin Costner on the untitled project.

Luc Besson wrote the screenplay and production has begun in Paris and will continue in Serbia through the scheduled wrap on Apr 22.

The darkly comedic action film introduces a twist to the familiar trope about the spy coaxed out of retirement for one final mission. In this case, the operative is given a drug that could save his life and plunges him into a hallucinatory, narcoleptic world.

EuropaCorp’s Besson and Relativity CEO Ryan Kavanaugh produce alongside an executive producers roster of Marc Libert and Relativity president Tucker Tooley.

Last May EuropaCorp and Relativity announced a co-production and co-financing deal that started with the action film Malavita, which is set to open on Oct 18.

WME and Media Talent Group represented Heard in the deal while ICM and Anonymous Content represented Steinfeld and UTA and Principal Entertainment negotiated for Nielsen.
