Film financier AngelWorld, which yesterday announced backing for new title The Big Shoe, will back drama starring Jessica Biel.

Newly energised equity fund AngelWorld Entertainment (AWE), which on Saturday announced backing for new comedy drama The Big Shoe, has signed on to finance and produce The Devil in the Deep Blue Sea starring Jessica Biel, Chloë Moritz and Jeffrey Dean Morgan. 

Bill Purple will direct from a script written by Robbie Pickering.

AngelWorld Entertainment announced its $150m equity fund in Cannes on Saturday.
