Prashant Shah has joined Benaroya Pictures as vp and head of physical production.

Shah has worked extensively in the UK and India and his credits include Ra.One and My Name Is Khan, which ranks as Bollywood’s highest grossing film. 

“After seeing Shah’s great successes with a variety of international productions, we look forward to a continued track record of producing high-quality films,” said Benaroya. 

“We will have a disciplined and cost-conscious approach to production management regardless of where we make the picture,” said Shah. 

The Benaroya Pictures slate includes Brian Horiuchi’s Parts Per Billion. Sundance premiere Kill Your Darlings will open in the US through SPC.
