The Netherlands’ Circe Films and Germany’s Coin Film, co-producers of Nanouk Leopold’s Forum film Brownian Movement, will re-unite for her next feature project It’s All So Quiet based on The Twin, the internationally bestselling novel by Gerbrand Bakker.

The story about a father-son relationship between an old farmer and his closet gay son will be shot in winter 2011/2 with Belgium’s Prime Time and Els Vandevorst’s Isabella Films also as production partners.

Circe Films’ Stienette Bosklopper, who is also co-producer on the Competition film Our Grand Despair, told Screen that backing for the film had come from the Dutch Film Fund and broadcaster VPRO

Brownian Movement will be the opening film at this year’s edition of Linz’s Crossing Europe film festival where a retrospective of her films will be shown.

In addition, Bosklopper is planning to work with Romanian filmmaker Radu Jude for a second time after being a minority co-producer on The Happiest Girl In The World by boarding his second feature Everybody In Our Family.
