CBS Films has made a preemptive bid for exclusive rights to Liane Moriarty’s novel, published on Jul 30 through Amy Einhorn Books.
The Husband’s Secret centres on the plight of three women after one opens a Pandora’s Box that ties them together.
Creative executive Winnie Kemp is overseeing the project for CBS Films.
Moriarty is represented by Jerry Kalajian of Intellectual Property Group and Fiona Inglis of Curtis Brown Australia.
The scheme was made possible by £150,000 funding from the devolution deal for Cornwall.
Directed by Matthew Holmes, the feature is set to begin shooting in 2025.
