The project marks the second theatrical collaboration between animation studio Rainmaker Entertainment and producer Blockade Entertainment following Ratchet & Clank.

Sly Cooper is based on the PlayStation game about an orphaned raccoon thief and his childhood friends Bentley Turtle and Murray Hippo who plan a heist.

The film is scheduled to release in early 2016. Kevin Munroe directs from his screenplay and the producers are Blockade CEO Brad Foxhoven and vp of development David Wohl alongside Rainmaker’s Kim Dent Wilder.

Rainmaker president Michael Hefferon serves as executive producer.

Edward Noeltner’s Cinema Management Group handles sales at EFM on Sly Cooper and Ratchet & Clank and will be showing footage from both titles.
