The story is about a young soldier who returns from Afghanistan and becomes involved with surveillance of suspected terrorists in the UK.

UK producers Kim Leggatt and Debbie Shuter, and writer/director Matthew Hope, have started pre-production this week on The Veteran.

The six-week shoot for DMK Productions is slated to start in London on June 14; casting is underway now. The film is being financed through private equity and Premiere Picture.
