Far Moor Media announced on Monday [29] that it has hired producer and UK industry representative Louisa Spring to open the company’s offices in Los Angeles in light of demand for access to the new UK TV tax credit for high-end television.

Spring is a US-based talent manager and producer and along with Far Moor has partnered with London-based media law firm Lee & Thompson to advise both UK and international producers in procuring the credit.

“We are delighted to be working with Louisa, whose contacts and experience are extremely far reaching,” said Far Moor executive producer Patrick Irwin.

“We will continue to work with all the leading agents and representatives in Los Angeles but the volume of enquiries we are receiving mean that we need someone on the ground dedicated to Far Moor’s services.”
