Five projects have been greenlit, with a further $200,000 available for more moving image projects.

London’s film agency Film London has invested $262,000 (£170,000) in five new moving image projects from London based artists, via a specially created production fund, FLAMIN (Film London Artists Moving Image Network) productions.

The five projects to be greenlit by FLAMIN Productions are Façade, by Phil Coy, Melior Street, Charlotte Ginsborg, Brecht in Hollywood by Anja Kirschner and David Panos, West Hinder by Elizabeth Price and The Other Side of Nowhere by Ben Rivers. Each project received between $46,000 (£30,000) and $54,000 (£35,000).

Film London has a further $200,000 (£130,000) available for five more projects. Supported by the Arts Council England, the scheme aims to fund large scale, single-screen work which represents a major new step in an artist’s practice. The deadline for applications is 1st July.
