Production starts in India on The Best Exotic Marigold Hotel 2.

Fox Searchlight has confirmed that Richard Gere, David Strathairn and Tamsin Greig have joined the cast of John Madden’s The Best Exotic Marigold Hotel 2, which is now shooting in India.

They join returning cast Judi Dench, Maggie Smith, Bill Nighy, Dev Patel, Celia Imrie, Ronald Pickup, Penelope Wilton, Diana Hardcastle, Tena Desae and Lillete Dubey.

Blueprint Pictures again produces with Participant’s Jeff Skoll executive producing.

Fox Searchlight has worldwide rights and will co-finance with Participant and Image Nation Abu Dhabi.
