Good Universe and Point Grey Pictures principals Seth Rogen, Evan Goldberg and James Weaver have formed an alliance to focus on producing and packaging mainstream comedy.

The partners will develop, produce and package comedy features and shop them to the market. Good Universe will handle international sales where appropriate.

The agreement continues an association that started on 50/50, followed by This Is The End and the upcoming Neighbors (pictured), which Universal will release, as well as recently announced Untitled Xmas Comedy through Sony.

“This union will form an unstoppable juggernaut of pure movie magic the likes of which this world has never seen, and we couldn’t be more excited,” said Rogen, Goldberg and Weaver.

“Point Grey has been one of the most rewarding partnerships for our company and we’re thrilled to be collaborating on this new venture,” said Good Universe co-founder Nathan Kahane. “Our goal is to create a platform for ambitious filmmakers to take the reins of their projects and bring these comedies to life.”

Point Grey is represented by UTA and attorney Fred Toczek. Dan Freedman negotiated the deals on behalf of Good Universe.
