Hammer is developing the follow up to The Woman In Black, which will be based on a new original story by Susan Hill.
Following its success at the box office, Hammer has confirmed that it will produce the follow up to The Woman In Black.
The Woman in Black: Angels Of Death is based on a new story by The Woman In Black’s author Susan Hill and will be set 40 years after the original. It will be a continuation of the story and will centre around a couple who find themselves at the haunted Eel Marsh House.
The screenplay is being developed by Jon Croker. He follows Jane Goldman, who wrote the screenplay for the first film. The director has not been confirmed.
The Woman in Black: Angels Of Death is being produced by the same team as the original - Hammer, Exclusive Media, Talisman, Cross Creek Pictures and Alliance Films. Roy Lee of Vertigo Entertainment has also come onboard as executive producer.

The Woman in Black, starring Daniel Radcliffe and directed by James Watkins has become the highest grossing British horror film of the past 20 years, taking over $33 million in the UK, where it is still on release in cinemas, and crossing the $120 million box office mark worldwide.
