Michael Haneke is currently prepping his next project, Love, with stars Jean-Louis Trintignant, Emmanuelle Riva and frequent collaborator Isabelle Huppert.

The film will begin shooting in Paris on February 7 and run through April 1 next year, according to Les Films du Losange, whose Margaret Menegoz is reteaming with Haneke to produce. Stephen Arndt of X-Filme Creative Pool is co-producing.

The film tells the story of George and Anne, a couple of retired classical music teachers now in their 80s. When Anne suffers a mild stroke, the couple’s love is severely tested.

The production design team is headed by Jean-Vincent Puzos with cinematography by Darius Khondji. Moidele Bickel will handle costume design.
