Shooting has commenced in Denmark on Pernille Fischer Christensen’s Someone You Love; while cameras are set to roll this spring in the UK on a film based around the winner of Britain’s Got Talent 2012 - talented canine Pudsey.

Someone You Love centres on singer-songwriter Thomas Jacob who, when he travels back to Denmark to record a new album with his regular producer Molly Moe, meets his grown-up daughter Julie and his 11 year-old grandson Noa for the first time.

Fischer Christensen jointly wrote the screenplay with Kim Fupz Aakeson and the production stars Mikael Persbrandt and Trine Dyrholm.

The Danish Film Institute, the MEDIA Programme, Nordic Film & Television Fund, SV and TV2 Denmark provided financial backing.

Shooting is scheduled to wrap in seven weeks with Nordisk Film releasing the film domestically. TrustNordisk handles international sales.
