The Kidulthood director has acquired the rights to develop the 2006 PSP game Gangs Of London into a feature version with Pulse Films.

The feature will be produced by Thomas Benksi of Pulse Films, in conjunction with Menhaj Huda’s own production company Foton Films. 

Gangs of London is set to feature a hyper-styled world populated by violent gangs and a variety of outrageous characters.

Making the announcement at the Cannes film market, where he was attending with his latest feature Everywhere And Nowhere, Huda described Gangs Of London as an ” iconic game which both Thomas and I were huge fans of - bringing it to the big screen is going to be a massively exciting task’
