Isabel Coixet begins shooting mysterious 'small' project in Barcelona
Javier Camara to star in Yesterday Never Ends.
Director Isabel Coixet is busy these days shooting her new and mysterious project, Yesterday Never Ends (Ayer no termina nunca).
Javier Cámara (Talk to Her) and Candela Peña (All About My Mother) lead the cast of Yesterday Never Ends,a production of Coixet’s own producing company Miss Wassabi Films and A Contracorriente Films. Peña and Cámara also serve as executive producers.
The film is being shot in Barcelona from September 18 in the outskirsts and Igualada until mid-October with a small budget. Actors signed a contract of confidentiality about the project. Set in 2017, the mysterious project is said to be somewhat related to the financial crisis.
Coixet has made a public statement saying that people “know too much of films before seeing them” and suggesting that she returns to the universe of My Life Without Me (2003).
