The company has a number of feature and TV projects in development.

Broadcaster and producer John Sachs has joined UK based production company Eclipse Films as an executive producer.

The company, which was set up in 2008 by Neil Chordia and Andrew Berg, has a slate of productions in development including feature comedy Runners, science fiction thriller 1.01 and TV projects The Record Label, and futuristic drama Magpie.

Sachs, who is the son of Fawlty Towers actor Andrew Sachs, joined Capital Radio in 1979 as a presenter. He helped to develop UK TV show Gladiators as well as narrating the series, was a music supervisor on the 2004 feature version of A Merchant Of Venice with Al Pacino, and set up talent agency and production company Talking Heads.

“Andy and Neil have some very exciting projects which I am really looking forward to working with them on. They both have very different skill sets and they are great fun to work with. I am very confident that Eclipse Films will be a great success and cannot wait to deliver some great content,” said Sachs.
