Pop star Nick Jonas has been cast as the lead in Careful What You Wish For, which Hyde Park International represents outside the US.
Hyde Park-Image Nation and Troika Pictures made the announcement on Monday [18].
Jonas’ first lead role will see him star opposite Isabel Lucas in the thriller about a young man who embarks upon a risky affair with the wife of an investment banker who turns up dead. Principal photography is set to commence on Apr 22 in Charlotte, North Carolina.
Elizabeth Allen directs from a screenplay by Chris Frisina and Gregg Hurwitz.
Robert L Stein, Michael A Helfant and Bradley Gallo produce for Troika Pictures alongside Ashok Amritraj for Hyde Park and Kirk D’Amico. Stuart Brown, Raj Singh and Kevin Frakes will serve as executive producers for Merced Media Partners with William Gallo and Dale Rosenbloom.
HPI previously licensed rights to Square One for Germany, Swen for Latin America, Grandview for Eastern Europe, Phars for the Middle East, Aqua Pinema for Turkey, Lusomundo for Portugal, Ster Kinekor for South Africa and PT Amero for Indonesia.
