Gad and longtime writing partner Ryan Dixon will write the screenplay about the legendary professional wrestler and sports entertainer.

Gad voiced Olaf in Frozen and recently wrapped production on Disney’s Beauty And The Beast opposite Emma Watson and Luke Evans and is scheduled to begin production in January on STX Entertainment’s Russ And Roger, playing Roger Ebert.

WWE Studios will handle worldwide rights.
