Principal photography is underway in and around Toronto on the psychological thriller from AMBI Group and Paradox Studios.

Justin Long

AMBI Distribution handles international sales excluding Canada, where Pacific Northwest Pictures will distribute. XYZ Films represents US sales.

As announced previously, Abbie Cornish, Diego Klattenhoff and Dermot Mulroney also star in the story of a photographer suffering from memory loss who discovers clues in her work that suggest she may be responsible for the deaths of family members she never knew she had.

Long is cast as the psychiatrist who helps the woman recover her memory, while Klattenhoff and Mulroney play her husband and uncle.

Ed Gass-Donnelly directs from a screenplay he co-wrote with Colin Frizzell and also produces with Dave Valleau through the latter’s South Creek Pictures.

Andrea Iervolino and Lady Monika Bacardi’s AMBI Group is co-financing with Paradox Studios with additional financing provided by The Movie Network, Movie Central, the Harold Greenberg Fund and Telefilm Canada.

Iervolino, Bacardi and Paradox Studios head Silvio Muraglia are executive producers with Jennifer Levine, Emily Alden and Tex Antonucci.

Lavender is slated to wrap production on June 29.

  • In other news, shooting has begun in Nova Scotia on ESP-62 Productions’ Spanish rom-com The Healer starring Oliver Jackson-Cohen, Camilla Luddington, Jorge Garcia and Jonathan Pryce. Paco Arango writes and directs.
