Wayne Kramer has signed on to direct Caught Stealing for Myriad Pictures, who will bring the project to the AFM next week. In separate production news, Gnosis and Whisper Pictures are moving ahead on Tusk: Hannibal’s Favorite Elephant.

Myriad represents international rights and will work with APA on a US sale. Caught Stealing centres on a former high school baseball star who gets caught up in a bloody treasure hunt through New York.

Lost Rhino Films’ Marcus Chait, James Carpinello, and Wilson will produce. Paula Wagner serves as executive producer alongside Myriad head Kirk D’Amico.

Kramer most recently directed Pawn Shop Chronicles and his credits include The Cooler, Running Scared and Crossing Over.
