The former head buyer for the Weinsteins is packaging and will produce the action film after she optioned the script from writer LH Adonis.

Gate Of Scars is described as a commercial character-driven story about an ex-hitman who comes out of retirement to rescue his father who has been kidnapped by sentries. The action takes place in Los Angeles, Dubai and the east coast of Africa.

“This script has all the elements to make it successful,” Krumm of MK Productions said. “LH is an extremely talented writer whose vision of this world was made for the screen.”

Adonis also wrote Night Of Decree which will shoot in Australia and Bali. Adonis is represented by Untitled Entertainment.
