The actor, famous for a recurring role as the Vice President’s press secretary in TV hit Veep, has joined Kevin Bacon and Radha Mitchell in the Blumhouse thriller.

Greg McLean of Wolf Creek notoriety wrote the script and will direct the story of two families on summer camping vacation at the Grand Canyon.

Jason Blum of Blumhouse Productions produces with Matt Kaplan of Chapter One and Bianca Martino of Emu Creek Pictures.

Robyn Marshall from Chapter One will co-produce.    

Universal Pictures will distribute the film worldwide as part of its first-look deal with Blumhouse.
