EXCLUSIVE: Filmmaker Jon Brewer has unearthed a previously unreleased and unheard Nat King Cole track while researching new film Nat King Cole: Afraid Of The Dark.

The song will be unveiled shortly; Universal Music launches the film in the UK on April 14.

Brewer, who directs and produces, previously made BB King: The Life Of Riley.

The Nat King Cole project is based on Cole’s private journals and interviews with the likes of his widow Maria Cole,
Aaron Neville, Harry Belafonte, Johnny Mathis and Tony Bennett.
