Production round-up: Paul Dano to play Brian Wilson

Pohlad is out to casting for an actor to play Wilson in his later years.

Oren Moverman wrote the screenplay and John Wells and Claire Rudnick Polstein of John Wells Productions will produce with River Road founder Pohlad. 

Dano is filming Prisoners with Hugh Jackman and Jake Gyllenhaal and will next be seen in Steve McQueen’s Twelve Years A Slave.

• Producers Tommy Alastra and Joe Mundo of 13th Sign Pictures have signed on to finance and produce Dallas In Wonderland. Ryan Page will direct the modern-day thriller set in the months leading up to the 50th anniversary of President Kennedy’s assassination.
