EXCLUSIVE: The freshly minted division led by Camela Galano has struck a deal to co-finance and handle sales on two projets from Atlas Independent, kicking off in Cannes with thriller The Man On Carrion Road.

Timothy Olyphant, riding high in the hit TV series Justifed, is attached to star as a border town lawman in the first title to emerge under the pact between Relativity International and the subsidiary of Charles Roven’s Atlas Entertainment.

Gonzalo Lopez-Gallego, currently in post with Atlas Independent on Open Grave, will direct from Nils Lyew’s screenplay about a sheriff who teams up with his retired predecessor to investigate a Mexican cartel butcher in the wake of a botched deal.

William Green and Aaron Ginsburg of Atlas Independent will produce The Man On Carrion Road and Atlas’ Andy Horwitz is on board as executive producer.

Production is set to begin at the end of August in Medellin, Colombia.
