Sony has optioned rights to Glenn Greenwald’s book No Place To Hide and teamed up with James Bond franchise producers Michael G Wilson and Barbara Broccoli of EON Productions.

No Place To Hide: Edward Snowden, The NSA, And The U.S. Surveillance State looks at Pulitzer Prize-winning Greenwald’s involvement in working with Snowden to break the story about levels od NSA  surveillance. The book was published on May 13.

Columbia Pictures evp of production Elizabeth Cantillon oversees for the studio.

Lucy Stille at Paradigm brokered the deal with Dan Conaway at Writers House.
