Trust Nordisk handling sales on Susanne Bier’s $8m latest scheduled for an Aug 2012 release

Danish actress Trine Dyrholm leads the cast alongside already confirmed Pierce Brosnan in Susanne Bier’s new feature, All You Need Is Love (Den skaldede frisør), which has started principal photography in Southern Italy, before returning to Copenhagen.

The predominantly Danish cast includes Christiane Schaumburg-Müller, Paprika Steen, Molly Egelind, Kim Bodnia and Sebastian Jessen.

Scripted by Bier and Jensen, All You Need Is Love reunites the team behind In a Better World (Hævnen), which received this year’s Oscar for Best Foreign-Language Feature, including Bier, scriptwriter Anders Thomas Jensen, and producer Sisse Graum Jørgensen, of Zentropa Entertainments.

Bier’s first romantic comedy since local blockbuster The One and Only (Den eneste ene) is set in Sorrento, Italy, where two Danish families gather for the wedding of Astrid (Egelind) and Patrick (Jessen). But the couple are not the only guests looking for love and passion.
